Tom Barnaby has an amazing talent at making things seem simple and easy to understand. This book is an extremely good book for an introduction and even more advanced approach to .NET remoting and everything surrounding the .NET framework. Not only does it cover Remoting, it also gives quite an extensive introduction to .NET and also explains Web Services, COM and other .NET Message Queuing. I will definitely look out for more books from this author. Very well written and without any of the MS hype.
